Ingeen – On-site Survey & Floor Plan App for Architects

Our client came to us with a clear problem from the field: site notes get lost, hand-written measurements are hard to read, and digitising them afterwards costs hours. We designed Ingeen around a single workflow – open the app on site, draw the floor plan, add dimensions, and have a client-ready document before leaving the building. The heart of the product is a custom floor plan editor built for touch: a zoomable grid canvas, snapping dimensions, automatic area calculation and export to PDF and DXF so the result drops straight into professional CAD tools. Around it we built the everyday tools a professional needs – client records with project status, a daily overview of surveys and to-dos, and voice notes for dictating on site. Because construction sites rarely have reliable internet, the app works fully offline and syncs automatically when a connection returns. We built it cross-platform with React Native and Firebase, added full iPad and Android tablet support with landscape layouts, and integrated RevenueCat so users start free and upgrade to a subscription in-app. We took the product through App Store and Google Play review, handled the subscription and legal requirements, and now monitor it in production with analytics and error tracking so the client sees exactly how users sign up, convert and use the app.
